Here is what Misa and Alexandra said:
With new year comes also the opportunity for new challenges and goals. We have decided to terminate our dancing partnership. In this difficult situation we have consciously chosen, that it is better for both of us to move on separately as friends. Life is a path which changes its course and you never know when the situation might change overnight and you would need to find new ways and solutions for the future. Our partnership lasted for three years and has thought us both many valuable things. We stood by each others side and resolved all the problems that we met. From the first difficulties with Visas, to 6 months disqualification from the Moldavian Dancesport Federation and confrontation of different body structure and dancing style. We are very proud to have achieved great results even if it was so difficult. We are most happy about the fact we were able to overcome the obstacles on our way and arrived to the very top. At this moment we would like first to thank our parents for their uncoditional help and support. Our teachers for their patience and knowledge. To all the sponsors that supported us and believed in our dancing. To the Slovenian Dancesport Federation for the trust and chance to represent our country in the official competitions and continue the successful tradition. To the Olympic comitee and Ministry of internal affairs for help with acquiring Slovenian citizenship and documentation for the Visas. And to all our friends and acquaintances who helped as in any ways on the path towards success. Without all of you we could never make it!
Our decision might cause consequences which we will resolve from case to case and do our best that no one from the envolved parties might suffer from it. We would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and help by resolving the caused situation.
We would like to wish you all the best of luck, happy moments and success at work in the new year. Let every occasion be something special.
